OVERVIEW Education Centre of Australia (ECA) is seeking a Student Services Officer to join its Melbourne team supporting the Institutes of Higher Education including Asia Pacific International College (APIC), Higher Education Leadership Institute (HELI), and The College of Health Sciences (CHS). The organisation operates across australia and internationally, delivering education programs for domestic and international students through higher education partnerships and campuses. This role supports students throughout their university journey, from enrolment and orientation to student enquiries and graduation activities. The position is suited to a motivated professional interested in building a long-term career in higher education and student services. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Perform administrative functions within the Registrar’s Office – Manage and process student enquiries – Refer students to appropriate support and welfare services – Provide support to students during enrolment processes – Process student applications – Assist with orientation activities for new students – Support on-campus events and graduation activities REQUIREMENTS – Experience in student services or related customer services roles preferred but not essential – Undergraduate or postgraduate qualification in business administration or related discipline – Excellent written and verbal communication skills – Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise competing tasks – Ability to work under pressure and adapt in a fast-paced environment – Experience using a student management system – Intermediate MS Office skills – Demonstrated ability to multitask in a busy environment – Current and valid work rights in australia WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Student services professionals play an important role in supporting students throughout their education experience.
