Job Description Our WIL Officers are responsible for coordinating the end-to-end work integrated learning (WIL)/placement process, including student preparation, placement allocation, registration, documentation, and ongoing communication with students and host organisations. This role also ensures accurate and confidential record-keeping to support audit, accreditation, and reporting requirements, while maintaining positive and professional relationships across the WIL program. Key responsibilities include: Manage cross-disciplinary WIL programs nationally and ensure they meet accreditation and legislative requirements Coordinate student WIL administrative processes, including creating placement groups, allocating students, managing and assigning forms, and managing other placement documentation Maintain accurate, confidential records of students, student placements and WIL partners to meet audit, accreditation, and reporting requirements Provide student and agency communication, managing inboxes and responding to queries in a timely and professional manner Oversee student placement preparation, including resume support, prerequisite checks, and completion of required placement documentation Assess and shortlist students for WIL opportunities and match students to host organisations according to suitability, course requirements, and accreditation standards Confirm, monitor, and finalise student placements in collaboration with host organisations Source new host organisations as required and maintain positive ongoing relationships with existing partners Deliver student and supervisor orientation sessions and workshops Respond to and resolve student WIL issues as required Perform other duties as specified from time to time by the WIL Manager. The role will be based in Adelaide, SA. Qualifications Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in tertiary education, WIL/placement administration or student administration Demonstrated experience in developing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Experience in managing administrative processes, student records, and compliance documentation High level of computer literacy, including advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and student placement software such as Sonia and student management systems Excellent time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities Strong communication skills, including professional correspondence with students and external partners Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team environment Flexibility and proven adaptability to changing systems, processes, and personnel responsibilities Experience in student engagement (preferred). Knowledge of accreditation requirements and regulatory frameworks relevant to professional placements (preferred). Existing networks in industries relevant to WIL disciplines (preferred).
