OVERVIEW The Business Development Manager โ International Student Recruitment plays a strategic role in growing international enrolments for a newly registered higher education provider in Australia. Based in Chatswood, Sydney NSW, this position focuses on building global partnerships, expanding agent networks, and supporting institutional growth while maintaining strict regulatory compliance. The role is central to aligning recruitment activity with organisational targets and national regulatory frameworks. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Develop and execute international recruitment strategies aligned with enrolment targets – Recruit, onboard, and manage international education agents – Establish articulation pathways and global partnerships – Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns and lead generation activities – Ensure compliance with the ESOS Act and National Code requirements – Track key performance indicators and provide regular reports to management REQUIREMENTS – Minimum of 3โ5 yearsโ experience in international student recruitment – Strong existing global education agent network – Knowledge of Subclass 500 student visa requirements – Understanding of the ESOS Act and National Code – Experience working with CRICOS providers – Higher education sector experience – Knowledge of PRISMS WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS International student recruitment is a critical driver of sustainability and growth for Australian higher education institutions.
