About ISN Psychology PTY LTD The Institute for Social Neuroscience utilises cutting-edge research (ISN Innovations) and clinical training (ISN Clinic) together with its college, ISN Psychology, to educate the next generation of psychologists. Students in professional psychology courses at ISN Psychology undertake their first placement at ISN Clinic. This network of clinics provides no to low-cost community services delivered by provisionally registered psychologists under the supervision of registered psychologists with Board Approved Supervisor status. Our Placement Management Team support students undertaking advanced (second and third) clinical placements, liaising with external placement providers, ISN Clinic, and the ISN Psychology Unit Coordinators. The Placement Management Liaison Officer plays a key role in ensuring students, placement providers, supervisors, and academic staff are well supported throughout the placement journey. Location This position may require attendance at ISN Clinic locations in Kew and Bundoora, as well as ISN Psychology campuses and corporate offices. Hybrid working arrangements may be negotiated. Position Overview The Placement Management Liaison Officer is responsible for coordinating placement activities and maintaining strong relationships with students, placement providers, supervisors, and internal stakeholders. The role focuses on delivering exceptional stakeholder service, supporting placement operations, facilitating communication between parties, and ensuring placement processes are completed efficiently and professionally. The successful candidate will be a highly organised relationship manager with excellent customer service skills, capable of managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities in a dynamic educational and healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities Placement Coordination and Relationship Management Coordinate student placement activities across ISN Clinic and external placement providers. Develop and maintain positive relationships with placement providers, supervisors, students, and academic staff. Act as the primary point of contact for placement-related enquiries and support. Liaise regularly with placement partners to ensure placement opportunities remain active and mutually beneficial. Support the onboarding of new placement providers and maintain ongoing engagement with existing partners. Facilitate communication between students, supervisors, placement providers, and ISN Psychology staff. Student Support and Customer Service Provide responsive, professional, and supportive service to students throughout their placement journey. Assist students to understand placement requirements, timelines, documentation, and processes. Monitor placement progress and proactively identify issues requiring escalation. Support the resolution of placement-related concerns in collaboration with relevant stakeholders. Foster positive student experiences through consistent communication and relationship management. Administration and Systems Management Maintain accurate placement records and databases. Perform data entry and reporting across organisational systems. Ensure data integrity, compliance, and confidentiality of student and placement information. Utilise organisational platforms including Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook, Canvas LMS, InPlace, Zanda, and other relevant systems. Prepare reports and maintain documentation relating to placements and stakeholder engagement. Scheduling and Coordination Coordinate meetings, placement reviews, site visits, and stakeholder appointments. Manage calendars and scheduling requirements across multiple stakeholders. Track placement milestones, deadlines, and compliance requirements. Support the efficient allocation of students to placement opportunities.
