OVERVIEW The Coordinator, Credit Management role at Australian Catholic University (ACU) is a fixed-term, full-time opportunity based at the Brisbane campus, with some hybrid work flexibility. Positioned within the national Direct Admissions Services team, the role focuses on maintaining and coordinating ACU’s course credit management system to support accurate and efficient recognition of prior learning. This position plays a key role in enabling consistent admissions and credit assessment practices across the University. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Coordinate and maintain the data and functionality of ACU’s course credit management system. – Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure precedent data and prior learning information is accurately captured and applied. – Support the assessment and application of course credit and recognition of prior learning in line with ACU policies and requirements. – Provide information and support services to university staff, current and prospective students, and external stakeholders regarding credit and recognition of prior learning processes. – Contribute to the efficient calculation, request, and application of course credit within direct admissions workflows. – Operate within the centralised Direct Admissions Services function that manages internal and external direct admissions processes. – Support data analysis activities aimed at improving customer experience in areas such as internal transfers, credit transfers, and cohort admissions. REQUIREMENTS – Eligibility to hold Australian work rights, as candidates must have valid Australian work rights to apply for this position. – Willingness to complete mandatory pre-employment declarations and background checks, including those related to gender-based violence and foreign interference, in line with ACU compliance requirements. – Ability to work in accordance with ACU policies, procedures, and requirements.
