Fixed Term Full Time Appointment | Contract till 2027 Professional Employee Level 7 Annual salary $96,559– $105,992 pa + 17% superannuation and 6 weeks annual leave Casuarina Campus | Larrakia Country As the Project Officer (Student Engagement), you will support the delivery, administration, evaluation, and compliance of SSAF and NBOF-funded initiatives that enhance student wellbeing, engagement, equity, and success at CDU. About the Position As the Project Officer (Student Engagement), your role is to provide strategic advice and administrative support to the Director, Student Engagement in the management of Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF) and Needs Based and Outreach Funding (NBOF) programs that enhance the experience, retention, and success of CDU students. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will coordinate and support SSAF-funded projects that promote student wellbeing, services, and campus life, as well as NBOF initiatives that improve equity, access, and success outcomes for students experiencing disadvantage. A key focus of the position is supporting the implementation and compliance of University policies and procedures relating to SSAF and NBOF funding. You will also contribute to project evaluation, monitoring, and reporting activities to ensure funding obligations, regulatory requirements, and compliance expectations are met. About You To be successful, you will require: Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across diverse groups to achieve optimum outcomes, as well the ability to prioritise tasks, plan actions and work well to competing deadlines. Experience in managing and evaluating projects in a funding-accountable environment, including financial acquittal, grant or fee-based funding management, and supporting student success or equity outcomes. Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across teams and campus locations, to provide clear information to customers and to manage sensitive information appropriately. An outstanding commitment to customer service for internal and external customers, with a passion for customer outcomes alongside administrative excellence. Advanced level of technical proficiency in administrative systems and platforms, including the use of large corporate databases and MSOffice software. Remuneration Appointment to this role will be at Professional Level 7. The base salary will be in the range of $96,559 – $105,992 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $112,974 – $124,010 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
