OVERVIEW The Credit and Admissions Officer role is based within the Student Engagement and Success Portfolio at the Magill Campus in adelaide. This full-time continuing position supports domestic and international admissions and credit assessment processes across the university. The role focuses on accuracy, compliance, communication, and collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders. Working within the Scholarships and Admissions Standards team, the successful candidate will contribute to a consistent and efficient approach to admissions services. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Complete domestic and international credit assessments accurately – Follow relevant approval and compliance processes for admissions and credit matters – Provide timely and consistent communications with stakeholders across the university – Support a consistent and efficient approach to admissions services – Work closely with internal support service areas, students, professional staff, and the Tertiary Admissions Centre – Contribute to the Scholarships and Admissions Standards team within Student and Academic Services – Deliver exceptional service and support to students, staff, and stakeholders REQUIREMENTS – Experience in a complex service organisation – Proven ability in the provision of high-level advice and recommendations – Experience in research and analytical skills – Experience in interpretation of policies and procedures – Proven ability in written and verbal communication – Proven ability with attention to detail – Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders – Legal right to work in Australia for the term of appointment WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS This role supports the integrity and consistency of admissions and credit assessment processes within the university environment.
