OVERVIEW The Enrolments Officer at The Industry School in Brisbane plays a central role in guiding prospective students and families through the full enrolment journey, from initial inquiry to onboarding. Working within a deliberately different, industry-driven senior school environment, this position combines customer service, administration, and community engagement. The role reports to the Business Services Manager and contributes directly to enrolment outcomes and the school’s reputation in the region. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students and families, responding to phone, email, and in-person enquiries – Provide accurate, detailed information about academic programs, industry programs, and enrolment procedures – Deliver outstanding customer service in all interactions with students, parents, and internal stakeholders – Nurture prospective families through the enrolment pipeline to achieve agreed enrolment targets – Maintain accurate and up-to-date student enrolment records in enrolment databases – Verify documentation, process applications, and manage payments as part of the enrolment lifecycle – Ensure accuracy and integrity of enrolment data and compliance with school policies and government regulations – Plan and implement enrolment-related events in consultation with School Leadership and the Brand Team – Organise and conduct school tours to ensure a positive visitor experience and clear understanding of the school’s offerings – Coordinate and participate in community initiatives, expos, and events to raise awareness and build partnerships – Assist the Brand Team by contributing to collateral and communications that support the customer journey, including social media engagement – Nurture and grow the alumni network – Support administrative tasks related to enrolments and onboarding processes REQUIREMENTS – Previous experience in a similar role – Well-developed Microsoft Office skills and the ability to learn new systems – A consistently strong client focus in daily tasks – High level of organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities – Strong communication and interpersonal skills for professional interactions – High attention to detail and data entry accuracy – Current valid Working with Children Blue Card or the ability to obtain one – Right to work in Australia WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS The Enrolments Officer is often the first meaningful connection families have with The Industry School, shaping their understanding of its industry-driven education model.
