OVERVIEW EIC Australia is seeking a full-time Education Counsellor to join its Brisbane office. The organisation provides education and migration service support for international students and works with universities on direct recruitment and student applications. This role focuses on advising students about study plans, supporting applications and enrolments, and maintaining communication with education providers. The position also includes customer service, visa-related assistance, and participation in marketing and promotion activities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Provide professional advice to international students on study plans – Instruct students to prepare documents for applications – Communicate with education providers regarding students and applications – Assist students with applications and enrolments to universities, institutions, and schools – Deliver after-sale student service support – Assist students with student visa applications – Update professional knowledge through self-learning and education partner training – Coordinate with colleagues to support sales and customer service activities – Support marketing events and promotional activities REQUIREMENTS – Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to achieve results – High efficiency and strong attention to detail – Problem-solving and negotiation skills – Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks – Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Chinese – Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications – Relevant counselling experience preferred – Australian bachelor or master study experience preferred – Work with children check – Eligibility including 485 visa holders, permanent residents, or citizens WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Education counsellors play an important role in supporting international students as they navigate education pathways, applications, and migration processes in australia.
