OVERVIEW The Course Enrolment Advisor role at Australian Trade Training College is a frontline position focused on converting enquiries into enrolments while supporting prospective students to take their first step into a trade career. This role combines consultative sales, customer service, and enrolment support in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Based in Brisbane locations, the advisor serves as the first point of contact for future students and plays a key role in guiding them through course selection and enrolment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Responding to enquiries via phone, email, and online channels – Following up warm leads and making outbound calls to drive enrolments – Managing inbound course enquiries as the first point of contact for prospective students – Providing clear, accurate course and funding information – Understanding individual goals and matching students to the right course – Guiding students through the enrolment and induction process – Managing a pipeline of enquiries and updating the student management system – Working closely with Trainers, Heads of Department, and Business Development teams – Achieving individual and team enrolment targets REQUIREMENTS – Experience in sales, contact centre, customer service, or student recruitment – Confidence handling high volumes of phone calls and enquiries – Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport and influence decisions – Strong organisational skills and attention to detail – Motivation to meet and exceed enrolment targets – A proactive, positive, and solution-focused mindset – Eligibility to work in Australia – Willingness to hold a Working With Children Blue Card – Ability to pass a National Police Check and provide suitable references – Highly regarded: experience in an RTO or education environment – Highly regarded: knowledge of vocational education and government funding – Highly regarded: experience using CRM or student management systems WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Course Enrolment Advisors play a critical role in widening access to vocational education by helping individuals navigate their training options with confidence.
