OVERVIEW This full-time, permanent Student Support and School Admin Officer role is based in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney and sits within a small, not-for-profit school environment. The position combines core administrative responsibilities with hands-on student support, working closely with leadership, teachers, and specialist staff. It is well suited to a flexible, adaptable professional who values relationship-based work and enjoys variety in their day-to-day responsibilities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Support and liaise with students in Years 9–12 – Provide administrative support to the school and teachers – Update the school website and maintain accurate records and information – Collect, update, and manage student and school data – Write minutes for meetings – Create reports and send school communications – Assist students to maintain engagement in school – Work with students who may have challenges or be at risk – Liaise with parents and teachers – Work closely with the CEO on various projects and pieces of work – Provide referrals to case managers and psychologists when required – Work in the Out of School Hours (OOSH) care program when required REQUIREMENTS – Experience in administration – Experience working with youth or young people, or within a school environment – Strong organisation skills – Strong communication skills – Ability to follow policies and maintain professional boundaries – Permanent residency or Australian citizenship – A valid driving licence WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS This role plays a central part in ensuring students receive consistent, coordinated support while enabling the school to operate smoothly.
