OVERVIEW The Future Students Assistant role at CQUniversity supports outreach, recruitment, and engagement activities that connect prospective students with higher education opportunities. Based in Rockhampton within the Global Brand and Marketing Directorate, this continuing full-time position contributes to campaigns, events, and presentations designed to inspire diverse communities to consider study pathways. The role suits a proactive communicator with strong organisational skills and an interest in student recruitment and community engagement. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Support delivery of engaging campaigns, events, and presentations for prospective students. – Assist with planning outreach and recruitment activities. – Build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders. – Represent the University at recruitment and engagement events. – Maintain accurate records and data in CRM systems. – Support community outreach, school engagement, and student recruitment activities. REQUIREMENTS – Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including presenting, relationship building, and stakeholder engagement. – Experience in customer-facing or engagement roles such as customer service, marketing, or education. – Proficiency in using a range of computer systems and business software, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and corporate systems. – Experience working with diverse communities, including low socioeconomic, First Nations, and rural or remote groups (desirable). – Full rights to work in Australia, as visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
