OVERVIEW Swinburne University of Technology is seeking a Curriculum Implementation Specialist to support the accurate and timely implementation of curriculum data across key university systems. Based in Hawthorn, Melbourne, this role works closely with the Curriculum Implementation Analyst and collaborates with academic and professional stakeholders to ensure curriculum information is collected, maintained, validated, and published effectively. The position supports a range of operational curriculum activities across Higher Education and potentially Transnational Education operations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Implement curriculum data accurately and within required timeframes across systems including the Student Management System, Stella, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), and scheduling and timetabling systems – Provide dedicated support to designated teaching areas in collaboration with the Curriculum Implementation Analyst – Work with Unit Conveners, Department Chairs, Academic Deans, the Pro Vice-Chancellor Academic Program Innovation, and Transnational Education partners – Support curriculum implementation activities including timetabling, unit availability, Canvas shell creation, class registration, and class and unit cancellations – Ensure curriculum information is accurately collected, maintained, validated, and published across university systems – Build strong working relationships with academic and professional staff – Develop an understanding of curriculum structures and delivery requirements – Contribute to the continuous improvement of curriculum implementation processes – Provide support across Higher Education and/or Transnational Education operations as required REQUIREMENTS – Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines – Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment – Demonstrated decision-making ability – Experience in a systems-based administrative role coordinating complex systems, data sources, data sets, and formulas – High level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – Demonstrated experience managing high-level data, including data entry into curriculum systems and report creation – Degree with subsequent relevant experience; or extensive experience and specialist expertise; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience – Appointment subject to passing a Working with Children Check WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Curriculum implementation roles are central to ensuring students, academic staff, and university operations have access to accurate and reliable curriculum information.
