OVERVIEW The Student Life Coordinator (International and Transition) is a full-time, fixed-term role based at the University of Notre Dame Australia’s Fremantle campus. This position focuses on designing and delivering programs that enhance connection, belonging, and transition experiences for international and study abroad students. Working within the Student Life team and reporting to the National Manager, Student Life, the role contributes to a coordinated, university-wide approach to international student engagement. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Coordinate International Student Engagement programs on campus to support international students in forming a strong sense of community. – Provide advice and leadership to support evidence-based student transition initiatives, including the development of a university-wide international student engagement framework. – Lead and mentor Student Life Officers across campuses to ensure effective delivery of transition and engagement programs. – Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver meaningful on-campus cultural and engagement opportunities for international and study abroad students. – Build strong relationships with University stakeholders at a national level. – Apply University policies and procedures to manage student matters and ensure ESOS compliance for International Student Orientation. – Undertake other duties as directed and comply with all University policies and standards. REQUIREMENTS – Relevant degree qualification and/or significant experience in a similar role. – Demonstrated experience leading and managing staff. – Strong understanding of relevant policies and procedures, with the ability to provide informed advice. – Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across departments and with senior stakeholders. – Highly developed interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills. – Strong organisational and time management skills. – Current and valid work rights in Australia.
