Reference: 1626798 About the Role: This position provides high-level support to the Director of Student Engagement in implementing and managing initiatives related to student experience and engagement within the Faculty. The role involves managing projects that enhance the entire student lifecycle, including outreach, orientation, transitions, and both intra- and extra-curricular development and support. The incumbent will identify, cultivate, and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with students, graduates, and community and industry partners to improve and enrich the Faculty’s student experience. Your responsibilities will include: Lead and shape regional engagement strategy for Humanities within a large and diverse student cohort Work across multiple student contexts, including regional communities, online learners and supported study hubs. Play a key role in enhancing access, progression and success for students outside metropolitan areas. Coordinate and implement engagement strategies across on-campus, regional and online environments. Promote student engagement by working with student clubs, leaders, and faculty stakeholders. Create and maintain resources to help academic and professional staff manage local engagement activities. Foster relationships with University staff, global campuses, alumni, and other stakeholders. Ensure students are aware of available services like Health, Counselling, and Careers Centres. Plan, implement, and evaluate student programs using CRM and database systems. Lead and shape regional engagement strategy for Humanities within a large and diverse student cohort. Perform other related duties as needed. Desirable Criteria: Data-informed approach, with the ability to use insights to shape engagement strategies and improve student outcomes. Understanding of the higher education landscape, including the needs of students across regional, remote, and online contexts. Ability to coordinate and implement engagement strategies across multiple delivery modes, including on-campus, regional, and online environments.
