OVERVIEW International Paramedic College Pty Ltd is seeking a Course Advisor to support prospective students exploring careers in emergency health care. Based in South Bank, Brisbane QLD, this role involves guiding students through course selection and enrolment while representing the organisation’s values and maintaining high enrolment quality. The position is available on a full-time or part-time basis and includes a hybrid working arrangement, ongoing training, and uncapped commissions. As the first point of contact for prospective students, the Course Advisor plays a key role in understanding career goals, matching students to suitable training pathways, and managing the enrolment process through a consultative sales approach. The organisation delivers nationally recognised paramedic, medic, and first aid training through online learning and practical workshops. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Meet and exceed KPIs in line with business targets – Maintain enrolment quality by ensuring the right student is matched to the right course – Represent the organisation’s brand and values in every interaction – Maintain accurate and up-to-date notes in lead and student files – Keep sales pipeline data accurate and current – Report on lead and client feedback relating to course demand and quality – Flag lead quality and conversion issues as they arise – Identify personal skill gaps and raise them for training and development – Call inbound leads and identify their needs and future goals – Follow up leads using a structured touch-point strategy – Run a consultative sales process to match students to the most suitable course – Manage the sales pipeline through to conversion while tracking each stage REQUIREMENTS – Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a sales role or call centre environment – Proven track record of achieving KPIs – Excellent phone communication skills – Excellent written communication skills – Strong objection handling, negotiation, and follow-up skills – Ability to build rapport quickly – High level of computer literacy – Experience using HubSpot is desirable but not essential – Industry backgrounds in education, training, healthcare, insurance, travel, telecommunications, or fitness are highly regarded WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS This role supports individuals seeking entry into emergency health care careers by helping them identify suitable training pathways and make informed enrolment decisions.
