OVERVIEW This role focuses on international student recruitment and marketing for an established ELICOS provider based in Sydney, with a strong emphasis on East Asian markets such as Japan and Korea. Working within a growing international recruitment team, the position combines relationship management, market development, and student recruitment activities. It is suited to professionals with experience in education recruitment who can operate across diverse cultural and regional contexts. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Recruit students by liaising with education agents both onshore and offshore. – Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with education agents, partner institutions, and businesses across Southeast Asia. – Serve as the primary contact for education agents and prospective students in targeted Southeast Asian regions. – Assist the Director/PEO in implementing marketing campaigns and promotional events tailored to diverse Southeast Asian markets. – Plan and execute international and interstate recruitment trips, including attendance at education fairs and exhibitions. – Collaborate with the marketing team to create culturally relevant materials such as brochures, flyers, and social media content for platforms popular in Southeast Asia. – Monitor competitor activity and recommend strategic pricing initiatives to support enrolment growth. – Consistently achieve recruitment targets for assigned regions. REQUIREMENTS – Proven track record in student recruitment or marketing with a minimum of two years of relevant experience. – Fluency in Korean, Japanese, or Taiwanese. – Previous experience in the education sector, with ELICOS, VET, or higher education experience preferred. – Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills. – High level of motivation and strong cultural awareness of the Asian business landscape. – Ability to work effectively under pressure. – Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
