OVERVIEW The Student Enrolment Advisor role with Applied Education, recruited through Brain Box, is a frontline position supporting prospective students as they explore vocational training options in Australia. Based in Perth, this role serves as the primary point of contact from initial enquiry through enrolment, ensuring a clear, supportive experience. It is well suited to professionals with experience in Registered Training Organisations who enjoy guiding learners toward practical, career-focused outcomes. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Respond to student enquiries via phone, email, and online channels with prompt and professional communication – Assess individual student goals and recommend suitable courses and delivery modes – Support students through the application and enrolment process – Maintain accurate student records and update internal databases – Build relationships with students to improve retention and course completion – Follow up with applicants and convert interest into confirmed enrolments REQUIREMENTS – Experience as an enrolment officer, student services advisor, or similar role in a Registered Training Organisation or training provider – Excellent verbal and written communication skills – Proficiency with student management systems and Microsoft Office – Strong organisational skills and attention to detail – Reliable, professional demeanour with a commitment to customer service – Knowledge of AQF qualifications and VET sector trends – Experience with student recruitment or conversion metrics – Familiarity with NRT and funded courses WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Student Enrolment Advisors play a critical role in helping learners navigate complex education choices and access qualifications that support employment and career progression.
