OVERVIEW The Student Support Officer role at Stanley College is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term position based primarily at the Mirrabooka Campus in Perth. Reporting to the Student Support Manager, this role is central to delivering high-quality, student-centred support across the entire student lifecycle. It is well suited to professionals in international and domestic education who are motivated by service excellence and positive student outcomes. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Provide end-to-end student support from initial enquiry through to ongoing academic assistance – Manage and respond to student enquiries in a timely and professional manner – Assist with online and face-to-face enrolments and onboarding processes – Monitor student attendance and academic progress, escalating concerns where required – Prepare and deliver student orientation sessions – Maintain a professional and supportive learning environment – Perform general administrative and customer service tasks to support Student Services operations REQUIREMENTS – Previous experience in an administrative or student support role within a fast-paced environment – Strong customer service focus with excellent communication and interpersonal skills – Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work autonomously – Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general administrative systems – A proactive, adaptable, and student-focused approach with a commitment to service excellence WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Student Support Officers play a critical role in ensuring students feel informed, supported, and engaged throughout their studies.
