OVERVIEW The KBS Student Ambassador (TAP) role is a casual opportunity for current Kaplan Business School students based at the Perth campus to support student recruitment and engagement. As a peer representative, you will share authentic experiences of studying at KBS and help prospective students navigate their decision-making process. This position offers practical exposure to international education operations while building communication and employability skills. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Chatting via The Ambassador Platform (TAP) to prospective students who are engaged in the recruitment pipeline – Conducting phone calls to future students when required – Documenting and managing telephone and chat interactions, ensuring status updates are entered into the appropriate systems – Making referrals to other points of contact within Kaplan Business School as required – Executing follow-up actions and collaborating closely with the conversion, student recruitment, and admissions teams to ensure a positive prospective student experience – Assisting with KBS promotional activities, including facilitating webinars with prospective students, creating social media or TAP content, and supporting events REQUIREMENTS – Current Kaplan Business School student with at least three trimesters remaining to complete studies at KBS – Knowledge and experience of student life at Kaplan Business School – Outgoing and professional communication manner – Strong verbal communication skills – Attention to detail – Proficiency in a language other than English – Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications – Experience in customer service – Previous Student Ambassador or other volunteering experience at KBS (desirable) WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Student Ambassador roles play a critical part in international education by providing prospective students with trusted, peer-to-peer insights. By supporting recruitment and conversion activities, this position helps ensure that students make informed choices and feel welcomed before they enrol. The role also strengthens collaboration across admissions, recruitment, and student experience functions, contributing to a cohesive institutional approach.
