OVERVIEW The Future Students Coordinator is a key recruitment role within The Australian National University, supporting the University’s domestic student recruitment objectives through targeted, data-informed initiatives. Positioned within the International and Future Students portfolio, this role focuses on delivering high-quality engagement activities that guide prospective students from initial enquiry through to enrolment. The position is offered at ANU Officer Level 6/7 and is available as two full-time, continuing appointments, primarily based in Sydney and Melbourne. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Deliver targeted, data-informed student recruitment activities aligned with University objectives. – Manage end-to-end recruitment initiatives across assigned geographic markets. – Coordinate recruitment events, outreach activities, and market engagement initiatives. – Engage and collaborate with internal University stakeholders and external partners. – Track performance against defined recruitment targets and report on outcomes. – Identify opportunities to enhance student conversion, engagement, and market impact. – Contribute to high-quality prospective student experiences across the recruitment lifecycle. – Support major marketing, communications, and engagement activities led by the Future Students team. REQUIREMENTS – Strong understanding of the higher education landscape and the student decision-making journey. – Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders. – Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data to inform recruitment decisions. – Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. – Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external partners. – Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach in a dynamic work environment. – Capacity to support occasional travel to other states across Australia. – Rights to live and work in Australia and ability to undergo a background check.
