OVERVIEW The Sales & Conversion Officer at Australian Catholic University (ACU) is a student-facing professional role focused on maximising prospective student applications and enrolments. Based at the Melbourne campus, this full-time, fixed-term position sits within the Future Students team and supports university-wide recruitment goals. The role blends sales operations, customer service, and student engagement across the enquiry-to-enrolment lifecycle. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Support the implementation of the sales and conversion operational plan for ACU programs – Work collaboratively with the Future Students team to foster a positive culture of customer service and performance excellence – Nurture prospective students through enquiry, application, and enrolment stages – Apply student acquisition and conversion tactics to maximise applications and enrolments – Maintain a detailed understanding of university courses, application and enrolment processes, campus amenities, and student services – Deliver a high standard of customer service that clearly communicates ACU’s unique offering – Contribute to Future Students programs and attend recruitment events and activities, including those held outside standard business hours and at offsite locations REQUIREMENTS – Experience relevant to student acquisition and conversion activities – Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment – Flexibility to work outside standard business hours as required for events and activities – Eligibility to hold a Working with Children Check (WWCC) and/or Working with Vulnerable People Check (WWVP), depending on location – Australian work rights, with appropriate status for fixed-term employment – Willingness to complete mandatory pre-employment declarations and background checks in line with university compliance requirements WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS This role directly influences how prospective students experience ACU during some of their most important decision-making moments.
