OVERVIEW The UAC Admissions Lead at UNSW College is a newly created, full-time ongoing role responsible for leading the operational delivery of UAC admissions. Based in Kensington, Sydney, this position sits within the UNSW Group and plays a key role in supporting pathway programs that prepare students for success at a leading Australian university. The role combines hands-on admissions operations with stakeholder engagement, data analysis, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Lead the day-to-day delivery of UAC admissions operations. – Coordinate UAC offer rounds, admissions processing, and reporting activities. – Ensure compliance with UAC requirements, College policies, and relevant regulations. – Analyse admissions data and provide insights to support decision-making. – Maintain the accuracy and integrity of admissions systems and data. – Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. – Drive process improvements to enhance service quality and operational efficiency. – Provide guidance and support to staff on admissions policies, systems, and processes. – Represent Admissions in projects, working groups, and cross-functional initiatives. REQUIREMENTS – Experience working within a tertiary admissions or student administration environment. – Experience with UAC, VTAC, QTAC, or a similar admissions centre. – Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to represent Admissions in meetings and projects. – Experience participating in or leading projects, business improvement initiatives, or system-related changes. – Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience interpreting data and preparing reports. – Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. – A proactive approach to problem-solving, continuous improvement, and service excellence. – Relevant qualifications and/or equivalent experience in admissions, student administration, or a related field.
