OVERVIEW The Student Engagement Program Mentor role with Full Spectrum Education supports school-aged students through the ACTIVATE program, a structured mentoring initiative focused on wellbeing, resilience, and personal growth. Based in schools across Melbourne’s western suburbs, this role involves one-on-one mentoring designed to strengthen students’ confidence, engagement with learning, and life skills. Mentors work closely with students and school staff to help young people develop positive mindsets and practical strategies for success in and beyond the classroom. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Facilitate engaging mentoring sessions that support students’ wellbeing and personal development. – Assist students in identifying challenges, setting goals, and working towards solutions. – Encourage positive behaviour, self-confidence, and a growth mindset. – Work closely with school staff to align program goals with student needs. – Provide feedback on student progress and suggest strategies for further development. – Foster a safe and supportive space for students to express themselves. REQUIREMENTS – A current Blue Card or the ability to obtain one. – Availability for four days per week during school hours (8:30am to 3:00pm). – A commitment to making a positive impact on students’ lives. – Ability to work independently while collaborating with school staff and the ACTIVATE team.
