OVERVIEW The Chinese Speaking Education Counsellor role at EIC Education in Adelaide is a full-time position supporting international students with education and migration-related guidance. Based in a leading education and migration service provider authorised by 39 universities, this role sits at the intersection of student advising, application management, and customer service. The position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a globally recognised education brand while supporting students throughout their study journey in Australia. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Provide professional education counselling and study plan advice to international students. – Assist students in preparing application documents and liaising with education providers. – Manage student applications, enrolments, and support visa applications. – Deliver after-sales support to ensure a smooth transition and ongoing assistance for students. – Stay up to date with industry trends and participate in training with education partners. – Collaborate with internal teams to improve customer service quality and sales performance. – Participate in marketing campaigns and promotional events as required. REQUIREMENTS – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students and partners. – High attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under pressure. – Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills. – Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively. – Fluency in both English and Mandarin, spoken and written. – Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. – Prior experience in education consulting or counselling is highly preferred. – Australian bachelor’s or master’s study experience is advantageous. – Valid Australian work rights, such as a Temporary Graduate (485) visa or Permanent Residency.
