OVERVIEW Alfa College is hiring a Student Service & Admin Support Officer for its Brisbane campus in Underwood, Queensland. This role supports student services, administration, academic coordination, and finance-related activities within an international education environment. The position is suited to candidates with CRICOS and counselling experience who can manage sensitive information, provide strong student support, and contribute to a growing college environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Respond to inquiries from prospective international students and education agents in a professional and efficient manner. – Coordinate student admission documents received from education agents and international students. – Maintain data entries on the Student Management System. – Handle general office tasks and administrative support. – Provide scheduling support by booking appointments and preventing scheduling conflicts. – Screen phone calls and take messages. – Sign in, greet, and assist visitors. – Maintain professional communication via phone, email, and mail. – Maintain student attendance records and files. – Assist with enrolments, USIs, and student IDs. – Identify and report continuous process improvements. – Assist students and the campus manager as required. – Provide orientation support. – Support trainers. – Order and restock stationery, uniforms, and office supplies. – Monitor and report student tuition fees. – Support admission activities and excursion schedule arrangements. – Update student results in Axcelerate. – Monitor student course progress. – Send warning letters each term and inform the admissions team if enrolment cancellation is required. – Work with the Academic Manager to support assessment upload tasks. – Contact students for support lessons. – Process certificates or statements for students. – Record student payments. – Monitor outstanding payments and contact students regarding balances. REQUIREMENTS – CRICOS and counselling experience. – Ability to handle sensitive information. – Professional and business-like presentation. – Adaptable and proactive approach. – Strong verbal and written communication skills. – Well-organized work style. – Focus on student experience. – Experience working with Axcelerate platforms. – Advanced Microsoft Office skills. – Strong attention to detail. – Minimum 12 months experience in an office environment. – Experience in an international education environment, especially within an RTO, is advantageous. – Fluency in a second language is highly regarded but not essential. – Ability to work as part of a team.
