OVERVIEW The Senior Student Adviser role at Edith Cowan University (ECU) is a senior professional position within the Student Life Directorate, based across the Joondalup and City campuses in Perth, Western Australia. The role combines direct student support with leadership, escalation management, and project contributions within the Student Hub. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Provide a broad range of customer-focused student advice to all ECU students. – Support school operations through effective student advisory services. – Act as an escalation point for Student Advisers handling complex student enquiries. – Apply broad knowledge of student administrative processes, courses, and support services to resolve enquiries. – Support Student Hub Coordinators by leading and completing project work. – Act as a proxy for Coordinators in meetings when required. – Engage collaboratively with colleagues across Schools and Directorates. – Contribute to continuous quality improvement in student services and processes.
