OVERVIEW This role is a full-time Education Counsellor position based in EIC Education’s Brisbane office, supporting international students with their study and enrolment journeys in Australia. Due to business expansion, EIC Education is strengthening its professional counselling team to deliver education and migration-related services. The role is particularly suited to bilingual professionals who can support Chinese-speaking students and work closely with education providers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Provide professional advice to international students on study plans – Instruct students to prepare documents for applications – Communicate with education providers regarding students’ applications – Assist students with applications and enrolments to universities, institutions, and schools – Engage in after-sale student services – Assist students with student visa applications – Update professional knowledge through self-learning and education partners’ training – Coordinate with colleagues to ensure smooth execution of sales and customer service activities – Support relevant marketing events and promotional activities REQUIREMENTS – Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to achieve results – High efficiency with strong attention to detail – High level of problem-solving and negotiation skills – Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks – Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both English and Chinese – Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications – Relevant education counselling experience preferred – Australian bachelor or master study experience preferred – Valid Working With Children Check – Eligibility to work in Australia (485 visa holders, permanent residents, or citizens) WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Education Counsellors play a critical role in helping international students navigate complex study pathways, application processes, and visa requirements. By acting as a bridge between students and education providers, this role directly supports student success and institutional recruitment outcomes.
