About the Role: Mater Dei College has the opportunity for a permanent Student Services Coordinator to become an integral part of the College’s Administrative Department, ideally commencing Term 3, Monday 20th July 2026. This position will be offered 5 days a week, 8:00am to 4:00pm Term time, as well as an additional 2 weeks during the school holiday period. We are seeking a pro-active, friendly and confident individual to manage the day-to-day coordination of the Student Services Administration to ensure a high standard of service is provided to both internal and external stakeholders. The Student Services Coordinator will be responsible for a variety of tasks that are inclusive of, but not limited to: Managing student absentees, ensuring efficiency and accuracy of class attendances and overseeing data entry to ensure that the integrity of the databases is maintained for AoS, Consent2Go and SEQTA. Attending to the customer service requirements for students, staff and parents. Assisting with pastoral care issues and referring students to Heads of Year, Deputy Principals and/or the MDC Wellbeing Service staff when required. Coordinating the first aid requirements for students on a daily basis and supervising the College sick-bay, including record management and contact with parents. Administratively manage RollCall for the College private bus routes. About You: The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a high level of organisational and time management skills, whilst supporting the Catholic ethos and values of the College. The successful applicant will demonstrate clear and effective communication skills with students, parents, teachers, other staff members and parents, along with the proven ability to work well independently as well as in team. Previous experience working in a school environment and knowledge in the use of AoS will be viewed favourably. Relevant qualifications within First Aid are also highly favourable.
