OVERVIEW The International Coaching Institute is seeking a Student Support and Advisor based in Melbourne VIC. This role focuses on supporting prospective students through meaningful conversations, helping people gain clarity about their goals and guiding them through coaching education pathways. The position combines relationship-driven advising, student support, and enrolment guidance within a collaborative coaching environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Speak with new students via phone, email, and online communication channels – Guide people toward clarity about their goals and future direction – Host conversational meetings at the Melbourne training centre or via Zoom – Support students through the enrolment process with patience and care – Invite people to live events and coaching workshops – Help students feel confident attending events and workshops – Contribute to a positive and supportive workplace culture – Achieve monthly goals through relationship-focused advising and support – Help people explore their goals, fears, and dreams to choose the right coaching pathway – Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment REQUIREMENTS – Minimum 1+ year of experience in customer service, sales, support, or another people-focused role – Strong listening and communication skills – Warm communication style that helps people feel comfortable – Organised, reliable, and thoughtful approach to work – Ability to build relationships and connect with people – Interest in supporting people through change and decision-making – Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment – Emotional intelligence and interpersonal awareness WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Student support professionals help people make informed education and career decisions during important periods of change.
