OVERVIEW An opportunity is available for an experienced Student Services Manager to support and enhance the student experience within a growing higher education organisation in Sydney. Reporting to the Registrar, this leadership role focuses on overseeing student services across the full student lifecycle while ensuring operational excellence, compliance and strong team performance. The organisation is known for its student-centred education approach, supportive culture and commitment to delivering quality higher education services. The role suits a professional with leadership experience in higher education who can lead teams, improve systems and contribute to organisational success. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Support the Registrar across all areas of student administration and services – Lead, mentor and develop the Student Services team – Drive continuous improvement of student systems, processes and data integrity – Oversee student onboarding, credit transfers and recognition of prior learning processes – Manage grievance processes and student support services – Maintain the accuracy, security and confidentiality of student records – Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards – Contribute to operational excellence across the organisation REQUIREMENTS – Proven experience in a student services leadership role, ideally within higher education – Strong data management skills with a focus on accuracy and reporting – Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop teams – Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills – Full working rights in Australia – Availability to work five days per week on-site – Ability to work in alignment with the organisation’s Christian mission and values WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Student services play an important role in shaping the overall higher education experience and supporting positive outcomes for every student.
