Ashley Institute of Training is an RTO, which forms part of Ashley Services Group, delivers accredited face-to-face training through both workplace and class-room environments and provides tailored and innovative training programs to some of Australia’s leading organisations and for job seekers alike. The Opportunity You will assist students with finding suitable practical placement opportunities and developing rapport with local and potential employers and industry bodies. You will be based from our head office in Salisbury, but as we are a progressive RTO we have multiple teaching locations therefore travel to North Lakes, Ipswich, Logan, will be required as per students needs. Your responsibilities Coordinate and plan practical placements for students across a range of qualifications Building strong relationships across a variety of industries Working with potential employers to ensure smooth on-boarding of student placements Provide excellent customer service to both students and potential businesses Work with students and educate on practical placement and environment Keep informed on market trends and employer requirements Develop industry network and partnership opportunities Work collaboratively with trainers and administration staff to support positive student outcomes and course completion. Encourage student engagement, attendance, and retention through proactive communication and support strategies Support students with barriers to participation and escalate where required. To become part of this exciting team, the successful applicant should possess the following: Be passionate about helping students Previous experience working within an RTO would be advantageous Experience within the childcare and individual support sector or a background within community services and coordination – highly regarded Able to work independently Good communication skills and ability to interact with students on a variety of different levels You must have high attention to detail Ability to build new relationships Strong sales background Australian drivers licence and your own transport is a must Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and support students from diverse backgrounds Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive or challenging situations with empathy and professionalism Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple placements simultaneously To Apply If you’re ready to bring energy, precision, and purpose to a role that matters, we want to hear from you.
