OVERVIEW The Education Counsellor role at AC & T International Pty Ltd in Brisbane, Australia focuses on guiding international students through education and migration pathways. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Provide tailored professional advice to international students to help them achieve education and/or migration goals – Promote and sell the organization’s services in a professional and ethical manner – Work closely with the Office Manager, including reporting on marketing and performance targets on a monthly basis – Liaise between international students and education providers to support applications and maintain ongoing communication – Stay up to date with the latest regulations and course updates from partnering education providers – Maintain high levels of efficiency, accuracy, and productivity across all aspects of work REQUIREMENTS – Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Australia in international education counselling – QEAC Certification held at the time of application – Bilingual capability with business-fluent Mandarin and strong English communication skills – Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills – Strong work ethic with the ability to remain patient, self-motivated, and adaptable to individual student and stakeholder needs – Demonstrated ability and desire to work collaboratively within a team environment – Full Australian work rights WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Education Counsellors play a critical role in ensuring international students receive accurate guidance and support as they navigate complex education and visa systems.
