OVERVIEW The Senior Recruitment Officer at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) supports the delivery of strategic student recruitment services for undergraduate and postgraduate coursework programs. Based in Broadway, Sydney NSW, this full-time continuing position works within the Future Learner Recruitment and Admissions team, which focuses on student recruitment, admissions, relationship management, and engagement with prospective learners and partners. The role supports the Domestic Recruitment Manager in planning and coordinating domestic recruitment activity while contributing to recruitment targets through collaboration, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Support the delivery of domestic recruitment activities and events aligned with course goals. – Analyse data and trends to guide recruitment priorities and improvements. – Represent UTS at events to promote courses and pathways. – Develop and maintain accurate recruitment content and materials. – Collaborate across teams to support engagement and conversion. – Support the planning and coordination of domestic student recruitment activity. – Manage prospective student leads. – Work collaboratively with peers and stakeholders to coordinate domestic recruitment plans. – Contribute to achieving domestic recruitment targets for UTS. – Produce communication materials including e-newsletters, digital and social content, and marketing brochures or guides. – Deliver student recruitment events and apply event planning principles, requirements, and procedures. – Use CRM systems or relevant tools to analyse qualitative and quantitative data and support data-driven decisions. – Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. REQUIREMENTS – Prior experience producing content for communication materials, including e-newsletters, digital and social platforms, and marketing brochures or guides. – Prior experience delivering student recruitment events. – Strong understanding of event planning principles, requirements, and procedures. – Experience using CRM systems or other relevant tools. – Ability to analyse qualitative and quantitative data. – Ability to make data-driven decisions that support conversion and enrolment outcomes. – Prior experience in stakeholder management and engagement. – Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. – Applicants must have current and valid work rights in Australia. – Applications must include a cover letter addressing the selection criteria and a resume.
