OVERVIEW The Work Placement Advisor role at EDU Corporate Services Pty Ltd. is a student-facing position focused on coordinating and supporting work placements across vocational and higher education programs. Based at the Adelaide campus, this role plays a central part in connecting students with host organisations to ensure meaningful, compliant, and well-supported placement experiences. The position works closely with students, assessors, and industry partners to support real-world learning outcomes. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Ensure timely placement of students with appropriate work placement host organisations. – Build and maintain strong working relationships with host organisations to enhance future placement opportunities. – Act as the main point of contact for students and host organisations, providing ongoing support and conducting regular check-ins during placements. – Ensure all work placement documentation is collected on time and meets compliance and regulatory requirements. – Allocate Workplace Assessor visits in a timely manner to support smooth placement experiences. – Develop and maintain effective internal and external stakeholder relationships that benefit students, host organisations, and EDU. – Ensure completion and compliance of placement documentation by assessors. – Provide students with relevant information about their work placements to ensure they are well prepared. – Deliver placement orientation workshops so students understand placement expectations and requirements. – Provide data and feedback reports from host organisations to support continuous improvement. REQUIREMENTS – Certificate IV or higher qualification (preferred). – Previous experience placing students within the VET and Higher Education sectors, particularly for Human Services students. – Strong understanding of educational processes within vocational and higher education sectors. – Proven ability to manage stakeholders and maintain effective professional networks. – Strong administrative skills, including experience maintaining documents and records.
