OVERVIEW The Student Services Officer role supports international students enrolling in Western Australia TAFE colleges and government schools. Based in West Perth, this position focuses on high-quality customer service, accurate administration, and admissions support across the full student lifecycle. Appointments may be offered on a full-time, part-time, casual, permanent, or fixed-term basis. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Provide customer service and admissions support to international students across the full student lifecycle – Handle enquiries and student leads via telephone, email, call centre, and face-to-face channels – Process applications and enrolments accurately and efficiently – Maintain accurate student and financial records – Support ongoing student administration activities – Calculate, collect, and record student fees to ensure compliance – Ensure data integrity across student management systems – Work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment REQUIREMENTS – Proven experience delivering high-quality customer service – Strong communication and interpersonal skills – Well-developed administrative and data entry skills with a high level of accuracy – Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines – Experience working effectively within a team environment – Confidence in applying policies, procedures, and systems accurately WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS This role helps ensure international students receive accurate information, timely support, and a positive experience throughout their studies.
