OVERVIEW Australian Polytechnic College is seeking a Sales & Marketing Officer to support student recruitment activities in Melbourne VIC. The role focuses on building relationships with prospective students, education agents, industry partners, and community organisations to increase enrolments across vocational education programs. This opportunity suits a motivated professional with experience in sales, education, or student recruitment who enjoys working in a fast-paced international education environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Recruit domestic and international students into vocational education programs. – Achieve monthly and annual student enrolment targets. – Build and maintain relationships with education agents, schools, community organisations, and industry partners. – Conduct consultations with prospective students and provide accurate course information. – Follow up leads and convert enquiries into enrolments. – Participate in education exhibitions, seminars, networking events, and promotional activities. – Develop new business opportunities and strategic recruitment partnerships. – Work closely with Admissions and Marketing teams to maximise recruitment outcomes. – Maintain accurate records using CRM and student management systems. – Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities. – Represent the college professionally and deliver strong customer service standards. REQUIREMENTS – Proven experience in sales, business development, student recruitment, or education marketing. – Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. – Ability to achieve and exceed sales targets. – Excellent presentation and customer service skills. – Ability to work independently and within a team environment. – Strong organisational and time management skills. – Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems. – Experience within an RTO, university, college, or international education sector is desirable. – Existing relationships with education agents and community organisations are desirable. – Knowledge of the australian Vocational Education and Training sector is desirable. – Multilingual skills are highly regarded.
