OVERVIEW Bond University is seeking an Admissions Officer to join the Office of Future Students in Robina on the Gold Coast, Australia. This full-time continuing position supports the university’s strategic growth and student recruitment objectives through the accurate, timely, and compliant assessment of admission applications. The role involves working with applications from domestic and international students across coursework, Higher Degree Research, scholarships, Study Abroad, and Incoming Exchange pathways. Reporting to the Coordinator, Admissions, the successful candidate will contribute to a collaborative and policy-driven environment focused on delivering a high standard of student service. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Assess and process admission applications for Bond University and Bond University College – Support strategic growth and student recruitment objectives – Evaluate academic qualifications from a range of global education systems – Process applications for domestic and international students – Manage applications for coursework and Higher Degree Research programs – Support admissions processes for scholarships, Study Abroad, and Incoming Exchange pathways – Verify supporting documentation submitted with applications – Maintain accurate student and admissions records – Ensure admissions decisions comply with university policies, procedures, and legislative requirements – Provide accurate and professional advice to stakeholders – Work collaboratively within the admissions team and broader university environment REQUIREMENTS – Relevant qualifications and/or experience in a university, admissions, administration, or other policy-driven environment – Strong commitment to customer service – Ability to build effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders – Excellent communication skills – Strong analytical and problem-solving skills – Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and legislation – Ability to manage competing priorities effectively – High attention to detail – Strong organisational skills – Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team – Proficiency in student administration, admissions, or other large-scale database systems – Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly – Cultural awareness and an inclusive approach to working with diverse populations – Experience in university admissions, compliance requirements, Study Abroad and Exchange programs will be highly regarded – Experience with systems such as Study Link, Student One, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 will be highly regarded WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Admissions professionals play a central role in shaping the student experience from the first point of engagement with a university.
