The role leads the design, delivery and continuous improvement of platforms that support the full student lifecycle, including learning, engagement and support services. As a member of the ITS Executive Leadership Team, the Associate Director sets the vision, strategy and roadmap for the Digital Student Services stream, translating university and business priorities into high‑value digital outcomes. The Person You are a senior digital leader with extensive experience working at the intersection of business, technology and education. You bring a strong understanding of agile ways of working, product and service management, and contemporary digital delivery practices. You are an experienced people leader who builds engaged, high‑performing teams through values‑based leadership, coaching and a commitment to psychological safety and continuous improvement. You are comfortable operating at executive level, influencing outcomes through clear communication, collaboration and evidence‑based decision‑making. You will also bring: Deep experience with learning, teaching and student systems in a complex organisation Strong financial and portfolio management capability with a focus on value realisation The ability to navigate change, set direction, and deliver outcomes in a large‑scale environment A commitment to equity, inclusion, work health and safety, and ethical leadership The Department Digital Student Services is a core stream within ITS, focused on delivering a connected, seamless and student‑centred digital experience. The stream works closely with colleges and service divisions to ensure that digital platforms support student success, innovation in teaching and learning, and the University’s mission to create national and global impact.
