OVERVIEW This role supports the delivery of professional and community placement experiences within the National School of Education at Australian Catholic University. Based within School Operations, the Administrative Officer contributes to the coordination of school and community placements through effective administrative support. The position is part-time (21 hours per week), continuing, and offered with some hybrid flexibility at the Canberra or Strathfield campus. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Provide timely, effective and efficient administrative support. – Support the sourcing of appropriate field placements. – Support the allocation of field placements, including school and community experience placements. – Work within School Operations to support courses delivered by the National School of Education. REQUIREMENTS – Hold Australian work rights. – For continuing roles, hold permanent Australian work rights. – Hold or be able to obtain a Working with Children Check (WWCC) and/or Working with Vulnerable People Check (WWVP) (ACT only). – Complete mandatory pre-employment declarations and background checks, including those related to gender-based violence and foreign interference. – Submit an application including a resume and responses to the selection criteria and core competencies.
