Royal Holloway is seeking to recruit a Research Project Management Officer to join Research Services (part of Research & Innovation). This full time, permanent position has a starting salary of £38,467 per annum inclusive of London Allowance. The Research Project Management Officer will provide support at the post-award stage for externally funded grants and provide timely and high-quality project management support and guidance in the delivery of national and international research grants. Responsibilities will include developing detailed project plans in coordination with project teams, ensuring resource availability and allocation to enable teams to deliver projects on time, within budget and scope. The Officer will also be responsible for managing a portfolio of grants, contracts & awards from a range of funding streams and ensure grant expenditure is in full accordance with College and funder rules. To be successful in the role, the ideal candidate must have a background in project management, budgeting and analysis. Excellent knowledge and understanding of the UK and international research funding landscape and research funding governance and compliance requirements is also crucial. The candidate must be an excellent communicator, comfortable managing multiple tasks and have a problem-solving attitude.
