
The US-UK Fulbright Commission
We are currently looking for a Programme Manager to oversee the Fulbright US Scholar Award programme for US individuals intending to conduct academic research in the UK. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the selection process, organizing events for grant recipients, and providing support and information for their relocation to the UK. Additionally, you will be expected to create promotional content, generate reports and records, and collaborate with the communications and awards teams to meet objectives. To be successful in this position, you should have experience in facilitating international/cross-cultural exchanges, preferably in the education sector. It is important to demonstrate your ability to develop strong relationships both internally and externally, as well as effectively communicate and inspire confidence in senior professionals. Strong communication and time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are also essential. You should also be passionate about promoting diversity, inclusion, and equity, and excited about supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds. The US-UK Fulbright Commission is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing education, promoting civic engagement, and developing compassionate leaders through educational exchanges between the US and UK. With support from both governments, the Commission offers prestigious Fulbright awards for postgraduate study and research, as well as other programs and services for British citizens interested in studying in the UK. Over the past 75 years, the Fulbright Commission has awarded over 25,000 individuals, fostering mutual understanding and connections between people.
