OVERVIEW Northern Alberta Institute of Technology is seeking an International Engagement Coordinator within the International Student Experience team. This role focuses on supporting international student success through meaningful engagement, structured program delivery, and community-focused activities that foster belonging. The position plays a central role in connecting students to campus life using best practices in student development. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Lead the International Peer Group program to support international student engagement and transition – Plan, deliver, and evaluate workshops, social activities, and cultural activities for international students – Support community building initiatives that strengthen student belonging – Collaborate with campus partners to enhance international student experience – Coordinate communication and outreach related to international student engagement initiatives – Support the international student lifecycle using best practices in student development and intercultural competence REQUIREMENTS WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS International students thrive when institutions invest in intentional engagement and inclusive program design.
