Macquarie University

We are currently looking for an experienced and ambitious manager to lead the recruitment of postgraduate coursework future students and drive the implementation of acquisition and conversion campaigns. This is a full-time, continuing role at our Wallumattagal campus in North Ryde. As the leader of the Domestic Student Recruitment team within our Future Students Office, you will be responsible for developing and implementing recruitment strategies for postgraduate coursework students. This includes creating recruitment plans, driving lead generation, and converting leads into enrollments to meet targets. You will work closely with the Acquisition and Conversion team to deliver acquisition, nurture, and conversion communications and campaigns. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Market Insights and Product Specialists team to analyze application, offer, and enrollment data to inform recruitment strategies. In partnership with the Manager of Domestic Future Students Engagement, you will identify and implement recruitment projects, engagement initiatives, and events to generate leads and drive conversions. You will also consult with key stakeholders across the University to prioritize strategic initiatives. As a manager, you will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing team. You will foster a culture of innovation, excellence, collaboration, accountability, and professional respect. Additionally, you will develop performance tracking mechanisms to measure the impact and return on investment of recruitment initiatives. To be successful in this role, you should have experience in sales and business development, ideally in the higher education sector. You should have a proven track record of developing and implementing successful sales campaigns and managing a high-performing sales team.
