Position: Manager, Domestic Student Recruitment (Postgraduate) Type: Full-time, Fixed Term Appointment until August 2024 Location: Melbourne (Bundoora) Campus Salary: Generous package, including 17% superannuation and a range of employee benefits Role Overview: The Manager, Domestic Student Recruitment (Postgraduate) will be responsible for managing resources on behalf of the University to achieve its strategic goal of recruiting high-quality domestic postgraduate applicants. This will involve leading the prospect account relationship function and implementing effective recruitment and profiling initiatives. The Recruitment and International Operations Division plays a crucial part in developing customer growth and stakeholder engagement strategies across all markets and channels. Key Responsibilities: – Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve effective postgraduate student recruitment – Assess postgraduate student recruitment performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes – Identify trends, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and risks within postgraduate student recruitment and take appropriate action – Contribute to the annual business planning process – Motivate and mentor the domestic postgraduate recruitment team to enhance their capabilities – Allocate resources within established parameters by senior management – Support the Director in building a strong team culture based on University values – Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of the Postgraduate strategic plan – Manage and prioritize postgraduate student recruitment activities in an agile working environment – Work with senior management in various marketing and recruitment planning groups – Manage the postgraduate student recruitment budget and review regularly – Contribute to the development and review of the overarching Domestic Student Recruitment strategy – Develop and enable the capability of the postgraduate student recruitment team – Other duties as required Skills and Knowledge: – A degree, extensive management expertise, and relevant experience, or postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of knowledge, training, and/or experience – Strong stakeholder management skills – Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in an agile working environment – Experience working with senior management in marketing and recruitment planning – Budget management skills – Ability to develop and motivate a team Benefits: – Employer-contributed superannuation of 17% – On-site child care facilities – Flexible work arrangements – Discounts for staff and their family members to study La Trobe courses How to Apply: To apply, please submit an online application including a cover letter and an up-to-date resume.
