OVERVIEW Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College is seeking a Coordinator of International Student Success to support International Student Services and the Global Community Center. The position focuses on advising international students, coordinating programming, and supporting student engagement initiatives within a global campus community. This role reports to the Director of International Student Engagement with additional supervision from the Director of International Student Services. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Serve as a Designated School Official (DSO) – Provide immigration advising for international students – Manage student communications and appointments – Coordinate international programming and orientation activities – Support Global Community Center operations – Assist with international student engagement initiatives – Collaborate with International Student Services and the Global Community Center – Support a diverse international student community representing multiple countries REQUIREMENTS – Ability to serve as a Designated School Official (DSO) – Experience or knowledge related to immigration advising – Ability to manage student communications and appointments – Experience supporting international programming and orientation – Ability to contribute to student engagement initiatives – Ability to work collaboratively with International Student Services and the Global Community Center WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS International students contribute significantly to the academic and cultural life of a university community.
