OVERVIEW Wright State University is seeking an International Admissions and Recruitment Program Coordinator within the Center for International Education. This role supports undergraduate and graduate international admissions processes while contributing to recruitment initiatives through virtual and in-person engagement. The position also focuses on communication management, applicant advising, and collaboration across university offices to strengthen international recruitment efforts. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Support undergraduate and graduate international admissions application processes – Execute virtual and in-person recruitment activities – Provide admissions guidance to prospective international students – Build relationships with external organizations to strengthen recruitment efforts – Manage communications and inquiry workflows using Slate, Banner, WhatsApp, and email – Support application processing and document review – Advise applicants on requirements and missing materials – Collaborate with undergraduate, graduate, and transfer offices – Coordinate recruitment territory efforts with language schools, community colleges, and EducationUSA offices – Prepare travel and recruitment budget recommendations – Supervise student workers REQUIREMENTS – Bachelor’s degree – Excellent written and verbal communication skills – Analytical and critical thinking ability – Strong organization skills – Problem solving skills – Project management skills – Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment – Preferred: 3-5 years of experience in marketing, sales, or admissions – Preferred: Cross-cultural experience – Preferred: Public speaking skills – Preferred: Organizational skills – Preferred: Computer competency WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS This position plays an important role in supporting international education by helping prospective students navigate admissions processes and connect with university resources.
