OVERVIEW The Global Partnerships Development Manager is a key role supporting the University of Northampton’s Global Recruitment and Engagement strategy. Based at the Waterside Campus, this position focuses on sustaining existing partnerships while developing new collaborative relationships in the UK and internationally. Reporting to the Assistant Director – Global Partnerships, the role combines strategic development, project management, and cross-institutional coordination to support the university’s global ambitions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Maintain and develop existing UK and international collaborative partnerships. – Lead the development of new global partnerships aligned with institutional strategy. – Project manage strategic partnership activities to ensure delivery against agreed objectives. – Ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) and faculty ambitions are met. – Prepare business cases and financial plans for proposed partnerships. – Coordinate due diligence processes and risk assessments for new and existing collaborations. – Support quality assurance, governance, and formal approval processes for partnerships. – Assist in transitioning approved partnerships into operational management. – Coordinate in-country approval applications related to international partnerships. – Work with internal and external stakeholders on partnership proposals and formal agreements. REQUIREMENTS – A degree or equivalent professional experience. – Experience in international partnership development or transnational education within higher education. – Strong communication skills. – Strong project coordination skills. – Understanding of risk management, compliance, and financial planning. – Willingness to travel within the UK and overseas.
