OVERVIEW The University of Leicester is seeking a proactive and organised Global Recruitment Support Officer to join the Future Students Office. This role supports recruitment activity across the UK, North America, and emerging international markets, helping prospective students engage with the university throughout the application journey. The position combines communication, planning, digital engagement, and event coordination within a collaborative international environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Support recruitment plans and engagement activities across international markets – Advise prospective students, parents, agents, and partners on applications and student experience – Deliver presentations to support recruitment and engagement initiatives – Attend exhibitions and outreach events – Organise recruitment events, open days, and campus visits – Act as a key contact for enquiries from students and stakeholders – Contribute to marketing and digital engagement activities including social media campaigns – Collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders – Support recruitment activity across the UK, North America, and emerging international markets – Travel within the UK as required for recruitment events and engagement activities REQUIREMENTS – Strong communication skills – Strong presentation skills – Organisational and planning skills – Digital literacy – Customer-focused approach – Ability to work effectively in a team – Flexibility and initiative – Cultural awareness – Interest in international students and global recruitment WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS This role contributes to how prospective students experience and engage with the university during the recruitment process.
