OVERVIEW The Intern, Custom Programs role at CET Academic Programs is a part-time, Washington, DC–based opportunity designed to provide hands-on exposure to the field of international education. Working in a hybrid format, the intern supports a study abroad provider’s Custom Programs team and contributes to the development and delivery of global learning experiences. This position is ideal for individuals seeking practical experience in program coordination, institutional collaboration, and student support within international higher education. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Assist with the design of custom global education programs. – Support the planning and execution of study abroad and other international programs. – Collaborate with higher education institutions as part of program development and delivery. – Provide support to students throughout the study abroad lifecycle. REQUIREMENTS – Availability to work part-time, approximately 20–28 hours per week. – Ability to be based in Washington, DC, with participation in a hybrid work environment. – Commitment to an anticipated internship duration of approximately six months, with potential extension. By supporting these programs, the intern contributes directly to expanding access to international education and ensuring programs are thoughtfully designed and effectively delivered. This role also plays an important part in supporting students as they navigate the complex academic, logistical, and personal aspects of studying abroad.
